Dues
Dues are essential for the chapters opperations. Each member of the Fraternity is required to pay their membership dues, for returning members they are to be paid on October 1st, and for newly initiated members upon initiation.
Our current yearly dues are $500. $150 of which goes towards member liability insurance to protect our members from any incidents that may occur at events or on campus, $250 to our General Headquarters which pays for our 2 annual and 1 biannual conventions as well as administration costs, and $150 towards the Manitoba Alpha chapters treasury which pays for merch and all our events throughout the year.
Members have 3 options to pay, that being yearly, semesterly, or monthly. The 3 payment structures are outlined below:
Yearly Dues: $500.00
Reoccurring Payment Incentive
- If you set reoccurring payments and send a screenshot as proof of doing so, the
monthly processing fee will be removed.
- However, one missed reoccurring payment will result in the processing fee
privileges being revoked for the remainder of the financing period.
Payment Options:
- 1. One Payment:
o $500.00 by October 1
- 2. Payment Plan:
o $140.00 (Liability Insurance) + First Monthly/ Quarterly/ Semesterly
Instalment by October 1
o $360.00 is financed through the fraternity.
o 8 Month Financing Period.
o Processing Fee of $5.00 on each instalment.

Late Payment:
- All Payments are due at 11:59 P.M. on the respective Due Date.
- A missed payment will result in a ‘Late Fee’.
o First Missed Payment: $5.00
o Second Missed Payment: $10.00
o Third Missed Payment: $20.00 + J-Board Hearing.
- The ‘Reoccurring Payment Incentive’ will be revoked for the remaining payments
and a $10.00 Late Fee will be applied on the missed instalment.
